From the gorgeous GIA diamond to the lovely side detailing and a design that points to the bride's Indian heritage, this unique engagement ring is special from head to toe. But what really stands out about this engagement isn't the striking ring but the dramatic proposal story. A hike along the Niagara gorge to a spot deeply meaningful to the bride. A fumble and the ring drops and disappears among jagged rocks and shifting, sandy dirt. A metal detector purchase and hours of searching on day one to no avail. Hours of moving boulders and shoveling dirt on day two and finally a glint in the soil. The ring found - grimy but no worse for wear!
