It’s been a brutal winter. As a Canuck you’d think I’d be used to it but we’ve had a series of milder ones these past few years and I can honestly say I was not mentally prepared for this. I was lucky enough to get away down South for a week in January, but the effects of that wore off pretty quickly when we got hit with another Polar Vortex (is that a bona fide meteorological term by the way or catchy jargon they made up just for the occasion?)
Despite the bitter cold and some more white stuff outside (we will not say its name out loud lest it mistake us beckoning for more), my mind is starting to veer to thoughts of spring. My new arrivals might have something do with that:
Flower necklace with opals in antiqued sterling silver.
Flower ring with opals in silver and gold
What better way to banish the winter blues than with some pretty, spring inspired flower jewellery?
I always get the shopping bug on the cusp of season’s changing but I never crave retail therapy more than during the transition from winter to spring. So I put together a little spring wardrobe inspiration as well. Hope you enjoy this pastel palette of pink, mint and blue.
