Bonnie came to me with a few old rings that contained diamonds but weren't particularly striking as stand-alone rings. She wanted me to come up with a design that would house the multiple stones in one ring.  It had to be elegant, not ostentatious and comfortable enough to wear on a daily basis. Having just booked a trip to the tropics my thoughts were on sun, surf and sand so as we were discussing potential options I put together a quick concept sketch of this swirly design:

Bonnie loved it instantly as it reminded her of a special trip of her own so we ended up with a beach and ocean inspired ring. Golden sands as the base, white gold waves hugging the focal diamonds and drop shaped recesses to house the accent stones (in keeping with the water theme). This will be a regular ring for Bonnie but I feel something similar would make for a beautiful wedding band as well.

I'm so glad Bonnie loves how her custom ring turned out and that I was able to give fresh, new life to her old jewellery with this redesign project. She is also the sweetest lady and brought me a beautiful beach tote bag as a gift! #lovemyjob
