I loved designing these gorgeous wedding rings for Mike and Wyeth who are making it official but wanted to repurpose cherished diamonds that belonged to Wyeth’s mother.
The original rings were meaningful heirlooms but they were worn and outdated. This was a perfect opportunity to create something new and still allow Wyeth to keep her mom’s memory close at heart on a daily basis. During the consultation I suggested a marquise shaped halo, to play off the marquise diamonds that would be used in the wedding band, an idea which resonated well. I came up with a few variations of the design concept:
The couple decided on the vintage inspired design with a scalloped edge.
Both rings turned out beautifully and not only are they meaningful on account of their symbolism but also for their connection to a loved one.
